Hello I am using brave and I see ads but at the end of the month I don’t get paid with brave rewards. Can someone explain me the reason ? I am in Cyprus.

Same problem, I started in December and watches over 120+ brave ads and it shows 0.0 BAT Token

@apanay22 That’s correct. The 0.00 you see is your account balance. Since payments happen only once per month, you would have no balance before the payouts. I’m not sure if you somehow are expecting instant earnings?
And if you’re thinking of the old estimated earnings, they removed that. We now only see ad count and then receive the payment each month, with no way of knowing how much to expect.
Payments begin around the 7th (8th if you’re toward Asia) and it can take several days or weeks to complete.
We see ads from the 1st until the last day or each month. Then it takes a week to reconcile and start sending payments. It is one payment each month. So as you see on the big banner of this website, the payouts are pending. They start getting sent around the 7th and can take days or weeks to complete, but usually within a matter of days.

I see, though, that it says the December payout is complete. Does it still not hit till at least the 7th then? Or did I just not receive rewards for December?

@mjwhite3232 December payment complete means the payout that was sent out around December 7 for November’s earnings was complete.
Currently are in January payout, which is where we are getting the pay for the ads we saw in December.

OK, I have the same issue. I haven’t ever gotten paid, even though I viewed ads, over 400 in December. My uphold account is connected and I don’t have any BAT on there still. What am I doing wrong?

@Mermaid well, I have some broken pieces of information here on your post which makes giving you a solid answer. Generally good to have a timeline.
When did you connect your Rewards profile to Uphold? If it’s just recent, then would explain why as we get paid just once per month.
Anything seen in December gets paid in January. That’s what that huge banner on this website is telling us and what I was saying earlier. Payments start around the 7th of each month. View ads from the 1st to the final day of the month, then it reconciles everything and prepares payments for a week, then it sends out.
So pay for viewing November’s ads went out around December 7
Pay for viewing December’s ads comes around January 7.
So on and so fort.
I say “around” because payouts usually don’t arrive exactly on the 7th. On good months, they come within a day or two of it. But some months can see 2-3 weeks of delays or so.
If you’ve been linked since before November and never received anything, then my usual assumption these days is they have flagged your account. Unfortunately Brave doesn’t give any notices to people when accounts are flagged (which is another way of saying suspended).
It will show as if you’re connected, you’ll see ad counts, and it will even say payments are arriving. But if flagged, they’ll never send payment. Only way you can find out if you’re flagged or some other issue has happened is to create a Rewards Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431

Seems I’ve been seeing ads and been connected to uphold a long time, but time has seemed to crawl lately, so maybe it wasn’t that long ago that I realized I needed to connect it.

same problem, i was getting paid brave as i looked at ads and all of a sudden it stopped and no matter how any ads i viewed there was no brave added. i got paid as i viewed and then it deposited into my account after end of month and now after looking at over 400 ads i get nothing. i am using solana wallet. my balance is still there from my first two months of viewing but in a dead stop.
