I have had the latest Brave version 126.0.647. First post has been corrected.

Unless its a rogue Malware application or extension? Have you got any extensions installed? Screenshot of what you’re seeing could be helpful.

I’ve always had legit extensions without this happening. They are random tabs and overlays. How does a picture help?

To see what these overlay ads look like. Brave doesn’t ship with anything like this,

  1. Its either a specific website launching it
  2. an extension
  3. an installed application on the PC.

Nothing new to cause it. They all look different. I only use secure sites and not new ones.

Check the extenstions installed; in brave://extensions/ Files converter or something. Or list the extensions installed here
