Description of the issue:
I am working with stable diffusion (AI for image generation locally on my PC) and I open that in firefox, I open Brave browser to browse CivitAI.com for models and resources, posting my creations and get inspired by other artists. But lately, I see that whenever I do that my GPU memory usage, shoots up, which is to be expected for the AI but a big chunk of it seems to be Brave, with peeks up to 30%, and it slows down my image generations on Firefox. Whenever I close brave generations go much faster. Now I am not blaming Brave perse, CivitAI has a lot of graphical information, images, videos etc and I usually have like 3 tabs opened, but the nr of tabs doesn’t seem too matter.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Generate SDXL images with comfyUI, open brave to CivitAI, look at some galleries and watch it slow down (this is only since a week or 2)
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Expected result:
I do not expect a browser to use so much GPU
Reproduces how often:
Daily
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave
page in the main menu):
Windows 10, Brave 1.66.110
