Low volume in Brave, works on other browsers perfectly

So I was getting low sound volume on Youtube, Twitch etc and could find nothing to fix. I went to brave://flags and switched the #try-supported-channel-layouts flag to enabled and volume is now fine. Hope this helps someone!

The problem is resolved. I tried to take many single steps so I could discover the cause, but I don’t know what finally fixed the problem. I did the following: 1. Uninstalled Brave with program that is supposed to remove all related files. 2. Installed a new copy, with no bookmarks installed and the problem remained in my original profile. 3. Created a new profile and as before found YouTube volumes good in the new profile 4. I opened my original and the new profile and opened to “settings”…

Thank you @Mattches for responding . I tried your suggestion and it did not work. I spent a little more time on this and I really don’t know whats wrong. I did however uninstall NVIDIA audio drivers & disable/enable the windows audio drivers. Good news is that the problem is not happening in Edge and Brave at this exact moment. So I’m cautiously optimistic that the problem is fixed.
