Keyboard shortcuts for media buttons hijacked by brave

Hello There,

I noticed that Brave started hijacking my media play/pause buttons on it’s youtube video, when In fact I still want them to control my Itunes.
I couldn’t find any way to stop this, can anyone help?

Using mac os x 10.13.6 with Brave Version 0.62.50 Chromium: 73.0.3683.86

Thanks for reaching out. To resolve this issue:

  1. Type brave://flags into the address bar
  2. Search for a flag called #enable-media-key-handling
  3. Disable the flag and relaunch the browser when prompted.
