Description of the issue:
Issue with new window in Brave
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Sometimes when I go to open a new window in Brave, it doesn’t seem to open it and Brave cares frozen. Once I minimize him and reopen him then the window appears. Other times when I open a new window it shows for some time half the new window and half the previous one.

Windows 11 Pro 24H2, Brave: 1.77.97
Additional Information:
My system specs are AMD 5500X with Radeon RX 6600XT with all new drivers. I’ve been trying for months to figure out what’s wrong. Thank you in advance for any help

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to:
brave://settings/clearBrowserDataAdvanced tab
Time range: All time
ENABLE:
Browsing historyDownload historyCookies and other site dataCached images and files
Click Clear data
Exit / Quit everything and Restart your computing device.
Please test by Disabling GPU Acceleration (aka hardware acceleration) in your Brave Browser settings.

Another test:
Disable ALL of the extensions that you have installed.
Restart Brave Browser. Test.
Install each extension - alone, no combinations of extensions. Test.
You may find one extension is a cause, or, after having tested each extension alone . . . then testing combinations, a combination of extensions is the cause, or the order of installation that you have had - was the cause.
My own opinion, is that any anti-virus extension should be installed last, and any adblocking -type extension, should be BEFORE that last anti-virus extension.
