Hello Brave Community,
I’m experiencing a persistent issue when using YouTube as a “Brave Application” (opened in its own window, separate from the main browser).
The problem occurs specifically when I try to open new regular browser windows while the YouTube application is running. Often, there is a significant delay before the new window appears, or sometimes when multiple windows are open, the display of the new window seems to be partially obscured by the previous one – looking like a split screen effect between the old and new window content.
This issue only happens when YouTube is launched as a Brave Application. When I have YouTube open in a regular tab within the main Brave browser window, I never encounter this problem when opening new windows.
It seems like using the application mode for YouTube specifically interferes with the normal behavior of opening new browser windows.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any ideas on what might be causing it or how to resolve it?
