Issue downloading anything

I haven’t been able to download anything on browser lately, photos apps nothing. But the icon in my dock keeps raising numbers everytime I try to download something.
I don’t exactly know how it can be reproduced.

Thank you for reaching out and I’m sorry to hear you are going through this. Could you kindly use guest mode to see if the issue persist?

If that works try disabling your extensions to see if this is the cause of the issue.

  1. On your computer, open Brave.
  2. At the top right, click Menu → More tools → Extensions.
  3. On to the extension you want to remove, click Remove.
  4. Confirm by clicking Remove.
