I can;t log into Barclays online banking as the site says "Bad request"

Have you tried to see if you can log in using another browser? I want to confirm the issue is Brave browser specific.

Yes I have no problem logging in with google chrome

Try clearing your cache and cookies on the website you are trying to log into. Click on the padlock icon in the address bar → Cookies and remove all that are stored there, then refresh the page.

Hey. just an idea. I don’t have a login to test… but,.

Can you add @@||tags.tiqcdn.com^$script,domain=barclays.co.uk into brave://adblock does it help?

I have tried this and it did not work. It seems that Barclays does not like Brave as I do not have any trouble logging in with any other browser. The other problem is that you cannot contact Brave to discuss the problem

Does disabling ads & trackers help in shields help @callehaya

I have tried that and still get the message “bad request”

I give up as nobody has the answer and I shall have to go back to using google chrome as my trusted browser, A great pity that the developers do not provide direct access with problems and rely on a community to do their work for them

Debugging bank accounts isn’t something that can be done, since there is a lot of privacy issues that come with it.

Looking at the standard “bad request”, Clearing cookies and cache via brave://settings/clearBrowserData would be a start.

Clearing browser data appears to have solved the problem
