I’m experiencing very high CPU usage from Brave to the point where I’m thinking of trashing it cause it just slows down the computer speed to an unacceptable level.
Anyone else having this problem with this version and are there any solutions out there?

On Windows 10 it uses less than 1% of CPU most of the time. I don’t know about macOS.
On my Mac, it is upwards of 50%.

From a clean Brave install, what usage do you get?
Which sites are causing the most issues, and which extensions are installed?
More Tools -> Task Manager will show which tab is using the most cpu usage.
