Got a new phone and sync seems to do nothing. No longer have my nearly 8 BAT

Briefly describe your issue: I got a new phone and synced my account but I don’t have my rewards.

What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave)?

Is your browser wallet currently verified? (yes/no) no

What date did you verify your wallet?

Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?

Are you using a VPN? (yes/no) no

Are you in a supported region (see here for list of supported regions)? I think so

Does your device pass the SafteyNet check (Android only)? not sure

Have you manually turned off Auto-contribute on all of your devices linked to Uphold?? idk what uphold is

Is this new phone replacing a previous device?

If you mean with Brave Sync, then the answer is “that’s expected” @Zefish.

Brave sync don’t sync your Rewards data ATM.

If you want to sync your balance across devices, consider verifying it.

So since I don’t have 25 BAT I cant verify my wallet, correct? So I may as well just let my 7-8 BAT go and start over?

The upcoming change will reduce the requirement from 25 BAT to 15 BAT.

But if you have a verified Uphold account, you’ll be able to connect it without the minimum requirements.

Both is coming in the next major release 1.25.x

Awesome thanks a lot. I will look into setting up an uphold account.

Your BAT account exists only on your device and nowhere else. If you replace or reset the device, there is no way (including sync) to transfer the BAT to the new device.
