Update: I fixed it. Someone recently told me about updating the Ad Block component in brave://components.
If the Brave team sees this comment, I’m sorry for the posting this without fair research and I’d like to have the components page as a tab in settings, or may something similar, like “Update Individual Components” in the About page…
If my browser is up to date, why should I have to update a component manually?
@ff5587909b245brav100 components get updated every few hours in a lot of occasions. Typically they don’t require us to manually attempt but it can be a good thing to do when experiencing issues, just to see if it can fetch an update it hadn’t yet picked up.
As you can imagine, doing large browser updates each time would be impractical. So instead everything is kind of broken into parts and some areas of it updated more regularly in the background.
