When vertical tab bar is set to expand on mouseover, please make the bar expand even if the window is not the topmost focused window. This is something that is default behavior in Edge. It would expedite tab usage between windows that are placed next to each other and/or on secondary monitors. As it stands, switching between my main and side monitor, I have to click the Brave window to get the bar to expand.
Not entirely sure what you mean here — if you click the button on the top-left of the vertical tabs pane, the panel will stay open at all times:
