Hi, really appreciate the time and energy spent on this browser from the mobile side. The monetization of background playback in the platform specific browsers has really put a sour taste in my mouth. I am a long time computer user and the fact that we are allowing this kind of behavior, to monetize software functionality, is a injustice to all users of computer technology.
That being said, I also really appreicate you trying to get more money to creators by making offers happen in-browser. What I am having a hard time with is, after I turned off brave reards, and the like, Im getting occasional pop ups when I start the broweser to opt back into these programs, is there a way to turn this functionality off completely? I use this browser for business purposes and it gets in the way of my operations. Im open to paying for the use of this browser, but not through adverts.
Can you elaborate a bit on this? Background playback in Brave is available by default and is not monetized.
