DirecTV Not loading programs


Description of the issue:
I cannot get programs to load in DirecTV using Brave. Streaming on Amazon Prime & Netflix works just fine.

Even with shields down the result is the same: programs do not complete loading. The progress bar continues as if the program will load.

I can access anything on my DirecTV account. I just cannot watch programs. Live & stored programs so not load.

DirecTV works just fine in Chrome.

This started Monday, 4/15/2024. I watched programs on Sunday.

I have powered down my computer on each attempt for the last 2 days.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Log into DirecTV.
  2. Go to the Guide.
  3. Click on a program.

It attempts to load, but never completes loading.

The same thing happens when attempting to load a recorded program from the Library.

@JDC948 I didn’t see you mention trying on private window and/or in a new browser profile. Could you test both methods to see if you notice a difference?

Also, I want to make sure…do you have Widevine enabled at brave://settings/extensions?
