Creator page shows BAT total for website, but shows connection error with Uphold and Uphold page does not show the BAT


As you can see there is an error message connecting to Uphold. Clicking on the ‘Continue to Verify’ just brings up the Uphold page in a new tab, but the Creator page does not change.

The 131.71 BAT is for a website, but clicking on the Uphold link for the website brings up the Uphold webpage that shows 0 BAT

I’ve not used the Brave community before to try and get an issue resolved. I hope that someone from Brave actually addresses this, otherwise I can’t see it being fixed. It’s not very reassuring for creators when accounts can’t be accessed properly and payments aren’t being paid.

Anyway heres to problems being resolved fast.

Just wondering if anyone had got back to you.

I tried turning off my VPN just in case that was slowing the connection to Upload, but it made no difference.

Is the community page the only route to resolve problems or is it possible to contact someone from Brave directly?

hi, still no one gave me a solution. I have no VPN active at this moment so there should be no slow downs in payments and so. I’m going to try on a telegram group if im able to find one.

I still find it difficult to believe that creators are having these issues and no one from Brave is directly resolving these issues.

As a creator i just feel completely despondent.

Hi @IslandBoy, please try disconnecting and re-connecting your wallet.

Thank you, I disconnected and reconnected and it asked me for my preferred payment option, and now it is showing as connected.

Hopefully, the payment will now go through at the next payment period.
