Clicking Google Drive URL link in Skype will not open it in Brave, nothing happens

Description of the issue: How can this issue be reproduced?
I set DEFAULT BROWSER to BRAVE.

People send me links in Skype, usually to Google Drive docs. When I click on the link in Skype, nothing happens, the link does not open.

When I set my DEFAULT BROWSER back to either Google or Edge, the links open fine - so this is problem with BRAVE, not Skype nor my computer.

Expected result: That all links clicked on open in BRAVE.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave is up to date
Version 1.11.104 Chromium: 84.0.4147.105 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Just tested on my Win10 machine – Google Drive links clicked in the Skype chat opened in Brave as expected. Can you tell me if you have Web Link Preview enabled in Skype? If not, can you try enabling it (Settings --> Messaging --> Web link Previews) and see if it changes the behavior? Alternatively, if you do have it enabled, can you try disabling it and see if the behavior changes?
