Can't login to (Ally Bank)

Description of the issue:

I’m unable to login to Ally Bank. I’m on Brave Version:

Version 1.9.72 Chromium: 81.0.4044.138 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I’m able to login to login to Ally Bank on Brave Nightly:

Version 1.11.17 Chromium: 81.0.4044.138 (Official Build) nightly (64-bit)

When you login to Ally Bank, it forwards you to, where it seems the release version of Brave is getting an error. Here’s a screenshot of the console from Brave Nightly (left) and standard Brave (right), when all I do is navigate to (not inputting my password or submitting anything):

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to and look at the console
  2. You should see:

chunk.9d94d602a188ecd5c022.js:1 POST https:// secure. ally. com/capi-gw/session/status/olbWeb 401 (Unauthorized)

  1. In Brave Nightly, go to and look at the console.
  2. You should not see this error.

Expected result:

Being able to login to Ally Bank
