Cannot upload pdf's to a website. All are greyed out

Description of the issue:
Cannot select pdf files to upload when using the Brave browser. Nor is it possible in Chrome. Firefox works

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Go to chatpdf.com
2. Click on paperclip
3. Try to select pdf but they all are greyed out, so not selectable.

Expected result:
Select local pdf file and upload it to the website

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.57.53

Mobile Device details
Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G
Model SM-N986B/DS
Android 13

Additional Information:
All permissions of the Brave App are granted
Reinstalled the App, no success
Tried other websites (https://www.ilovepdf.com/merge_pdf), same issue

This isn’t merely a PDF issue, or there are two related issues: It’s also impossible to upload the module LCP files used by compcon.app (Manage Content → Install Content after downloading an appropriate module)

Same issue here, impossible to upload any file from the default brave android’s file explorer. Which is not changeable. On any website. Could someone of the brave team check this and manage to solve the issue ?
