Can't upload files from Brave Android

I’m trying to upload files (music, pdf, etc) from Brave, I choose “Open file” in the web page and file explorer opens, but all my files can’t be selected

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Enter in a page to upload files
2. Select “Open file”
3. File explorer doesn’t let select files

Expected result:

Select file and upload it to the webpage

Brave Version( check About Brave):

1.57.60

I have the same exact problem.

Same thing here
The problem appears in “Some” websites, didn’t show in pervious releases of brave (in 1.56.xx and before)

I think the website defind a specific type of files like PDF, DOCX. etc…
But Brave defind different type of files (Unknown) and don’t accept any files to upload

Confirm. I have encountered the same problem today on ilovepdf.com . Can’t select any file for upload.

Same issue here. Can’t send PDF to the online printing service like “print with me”. All works fine with Chrome.

Same on Poco X3 Pro with MIUI 14 Android 13 Brave 1.57.62

Same exact problem on Android 12, Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, Brave Android version 1.57.62.

The upload field looked only for doc, docx, and PDF files. All were greyed out.

Was able to upload fine using Chrome for Android.
