Description of the issue:
I have a developer mode extension enabled (Bypass Paywalls). In the previous versions of Brave, I had no problems with this other than the annoying “disable developer mode” popup.
In the newest version of Brave, however, when reopening the browser, it takes a full 10-15 seconds of load time before it even displays the “disable developer mode” popup. In this load time, the browser seems entirely frozen; it is impossible to do anything except wait to dismiss the popup.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Enable developer mode
- Load an unpacked extension
- Restart the browser
