Brave's handoff from macOS is pointing to Safari at iOS (despite that Brave is on both devices the default one)

When I am surfing on a website in Brave’s browser through a macOS device and I want to pop the same website in the iOS device through the Apple Handoff method, the website I was in, appears in Safari Browser.

The steps I follow are the bellow noted ones.

  1. Open Brave browser in Macbook.
  2. Go to a website by typing a URL.
  3. Open iPhone and tap to see all open “windows”.
  4. See through handoff the website I was surfing on but in Safari browser.

Resulting in a negative browsing experience due to that we love Brave and we have to manually copy URL addresses from iPhone’s Safari in order to paste them into iPhone’s Brave.

I expected the handoff to work from macOS to iPhone (from Brave to Brave in correspondence) and not only from iPhone to macOS (which works normally and correctly by the way).

This error is an ongoing produced one, each time I am trying to use browsing handoff from Mac to iPhone.

Devices and Apps info below:

My Macbook is the Macbook Air (Intel 2020) and runs on macOS Monterey 12.0.1.

My Mac’s Brave is the 1.32.115 Chromium 96.0.4664.93 (official version) in x86_64.

My iPhone is the iPhone XR running on iOS 15.1.

My iPhone’s Brave is 1.32.3 (21.11.17.19)

Please advise.
