Brave With TOR - Bookmarks bar shows on new tab screen despite bookmarks bar being turned off

If I open a new private window with TOR it will show my bookmarks bar despite having bookmarks bar unchecked, the bookmarks bar disappears once I navigate to a website.

This is still an issue, and i’ve since moved to ubuntu from windows 10, surprising to see it happens between OS’s
