Brave wallet not loading

Description of the issue:
after logging into brave wallet, the wallet only shows a loading icon, a circle spinning. the wallet is actually unlocked, as i can connect to dapps, but i cannot take any action within the wallet.

Is the issue occurring on a specific network?

What operating system are you using?
windows 10

Brave Version (check About Brave):

v1.73.89 (Nov 13, 2024)

Additional Information:
ive tried rebooting and updating computer. brave says its on the latest version.

Have you tried resetting and restoring the wallet with your recovery phrase?

no, i haven’t tried resetting and restoring the wallet, i would rather avoid that

still not resolved, same issue is happening. Ive found that if i open the wallet in fullscreen mode it will load, but performance is slow and laggy. Ive tried changing hardware acceleration modes with no luck.

@steve01010101 when you say full screen, you mean going to brave://wallet then? If so, it’s interesting that works with no issues.

When he does talk about resetting and restoring, if you don’t want to try that on your main profile, I would say you could create a second browser profile and try to restore your wallet there. It would have no impact on your original browser profile. If it works perfectly fine then it at least gives us a hint that it’s likely something specific to your one browser profile and can kind of go from there.

NOTE

Keep in mind today is Thanksgiving. Majority of people at Brave, including Support, aren’t typically active on the weekends or on American holidays. I’m not sure if they’ll be gone tomorrow as well, meaning there is a possibility we may not hear from them until after Monday.

Yes I mean the brave://wallet when I say full screen. It loads but seems laggy.

so i created second profile and new wallet. the second profile with new wallet works perfectly.
could it be a setting or extension causing an issue?

An extension may be the culprit. If you enable Brave Wallet in Private Windows, do you see the same experience with a private window on the original profile?

i enabled the wallet in private windows, and it does work

ive disabled all extensions, but it is still happening when not in private or second profile. It must be settings

ive went through all available settings compared to the second profile and same issue.
it may be a advanced setting.

worth mentioning, my cpu usage jumps up to 50% when waiting on the wallet to load.
I am on a amd cpu and gpu if that has any bearing.
Any other webpage or normal browsing it stays below 10%
