Brave on Mac crashes every time I Cmd+click to open in new tab

Description of the issue:

Every time I cmd+click to open a link in a new tab, the browser instantly crashes - no warnings, no messages, just immediately gone.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open any page (have tested with personal sites, Google, random websites, all the same).
  2. Hold Command key and click on a link.

Expected result:

Link should open in a new tab. Right-clicking and choosing “Open Link in New Tab” functions as expected.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.2.43 Chromium: 79.0.3945.130 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

Have tried removing bookmarks and deleting Library/ApplicationSettings/Brave as was mentioned in some older threads about crashes, but even with a clean startup (without even going through the welcome setup process) the problem remains exactly the same. I’ve enabled crash reporting and uploaded half-a-dozen crashes that happened this morning.
