Brave not responding on start

Hello.

I recently ran into a problem. After loading Windows 11 and trying to start Brave - the browser starts with the “Not responding” status.

In the task manager, at the same time, I see how one of the brave processes uses a lot of my PC’s resources: up to 14GB of RAM, disk, processor.

As soon as this resource-consuming process terminates, brave begins to respond and work normally. This may take 2 to 15 minutes.

I tried disabling extensions - didn’t help. I tried reinstalling Brave and that worked for a few days, but then the problem returned.

Any idea what it is and how to fix it?
