Description of the issue:
Brave keeps crashing after tapping on search bar, it only happens after going back from a site on the search result from any search engine.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Search anything on Brave.
- Tap on the search bar, it will works normally.
- Open any site from the search result.
- Hit return and go back to search result.
- Tap on the search bar, Brave will crash.
Expected result:
Search bar can be accessed normally.
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Latest Stable, Beta, and Nightly.
Mobile Device details
ARM64, Android 11.
Additional Information:
I have searched some report regarding this issue and found first report, second report, third report, fourth report, and around 10 more reports about same issue.
The only solution so far is disabling Bitwarden autofill which is not a good solution as this issue doesn’t exist on other browsers. What is Brave developers doing after all of these reports?
