For about two months, Brave Nightly and Brave Beta have been closing automatically when I typed or pasted something into the address bar. Recently, the stable version of Brave started having the same issue.

Solution:
This issue can be resolved by disabling the “Show quick search bar” option.
How to disable it:
1. Go to Brave’s Settings.
2. Navigate to Search Engines.
3. Locate the Quick-Search Engines section.
4. Turn off the Show quick search bar option.
Once this option is disabled, the issue should be resolved.

I’ve experienced the Brave crashing when selecting ANY text field, randomly, & on any site ‘bug’ for months (exceedingly irritating) so, I’m hoping that your solution resolves it all.
