Brave.exe taking network bandwidth minutes after closing the app

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

1. I close Brave, check Resource Monitor and for minutes brave.exe is still receiving and sending network traffic.

Expected result:

If I close the application, maybe some length of time is acceptable but not for minutes.

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.48.171

@mwoolfso please accept my apologies for this inconvenience. Do you have any extensions installed or VPN added to Brave on your Laptop.

If that’s the case, try disabling them to see if that makes any change.
