Brave crash after 10-30s

@Pep1
Thanks for the confirmation. All seems as it supposed to be.
Which OS runs your phone, Android or iOS?

i also have been having the same issue
-I disabled “hardware acceleration” and relaunch - > didn’t work
i just want to get work done.

Same issue. Went through all the steps. Disabling cards and news seems to help. Been 5 min now without a crash.

Hi again, could you please tell me which version of Windows are you using on your PC?

@Alexey

Did you see my private message?

Brave closes 30-45 seconds after start. Restarted over & over, “BRAVE DID NOT SHUT DOWN CORRECTLY”. I downloaded & installed it again, no change.
Any ideas.

@Pep1
I messed the message, but now I have answered. Thanks

Hi,

i’ve got the same problem since yesterday.
It seems only to happen if a new tab is open.

OS: Ubuntu 22.04
Brave version: v1.45.116 (Oct 28th, 2022)

Setting the new tab page to blank prevents the crashes

Hello again @Pep1 could you please try updating to the latest version on your device to see if the crash issue solves?

Be waiting for your response.

Same issue here. Looks like release v1.45.118 is supposed to fix this https://brave.com/latest/ (I had the crypto widget on my home page as well, .116 crashed)
