Description of the issue: Brave Browser Helper (Rendered) is consuming tons of CPU.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Opening and using Brave
Expected result: % CPU: 388%
Top Processes Snapshot by CPU:
Process (count) CPU (Source - Location)
Brave Browser Helper (Renderer) (85) 843.06 % (Brave Software, Inc.)
Brave Version v1.44.105 (Sep 30th, 2022)

Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this resolves the issue?
You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration
Already tried this and a bunch of stuff recommended on another post but it was still going. What worked for me was killing the process with activity monitor and restarting my computer, along with anything else. Could it be possible for this process to be triggering Help Viewer as well?

Can you please take a screenshot of Brave in your Activity Monitor with the offending process showing (similar to what I’ve taken below)?

Is there a particular site and/or extension you were using at the time that you can think of that may have been responsible? Perhaps something relatively heavy like video streaming (Netflix, Hulu, etc) or a gaming site/in-browser game?
I’ve been trying as hard as I can to think of this, but I have almost the same websites opened now as I had at that time.
Would look at the internal task manager in Brave to get more accurate breakdown of resources
