Hi everyone,
I have been using Brave for a few months now. But for the last few days I have suddenly had my fan going at full blast when Brave is running. Checking activity monitor it is clear that it is a Brave Helper process that is pegging CPU at 100%!!!
I think this started when I was having a call via Jitsi.
I love Brave, so I am truly hoping there is a solution to this problem (looks like it has been around for a while in Google searches).
What is your Brave version?
In my case yes, I only have this issue with that web site.

I’ve had/heard similar experiences about Jitsi.
This sounds like an issue with their site. Have you used Jitsi with chrome or any other browser?
Oh I didn’t know that. I didn’t try with other browsers, maybe I could try with Chrome.

Recently, I tried Jitsi with Chrome and I don’t get same results, CPU values don’t increase considerably.
I didn’t realize earlier, but in Brave having a call in Hangouts, CPU consume is high not equal like Jitsi but high.
