Description of the issue:
When I open new tabs, such as Chess.com, pixiv.com, youtube.com, etc, the browser will have burst of high CPU usage that did not occur for me in the past (accompanied by an increase in fan volume). This issue is exacerbated when opening multiple tabs at once and may even cause freezes. This may have to do with the January 6, 2022 release.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Use Brave
- Open tabs
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Expected result:
In the past, this would not occur and my CPU temperature would not go from 40 degrees to 60 degrees Celsius from opening a couple of tabs.
Reproduces how often:
Whenever a tab is opened.
