Brave constantly using 5-10% cpu ramping up to 30-50% when opening a new tab

Description of the issue: Brave constantly using 5-10% cpu ramping up to 30-50% when opening a new tab. It started happening recently and I noticed it when I wanted to play a game and watch youtube at the same time. Ram usage is also very high using at least 3GB ramping up while opening new tabs or doing something in them.

How can this issue be reproduced? No idea it just happens when I use it normally

Version 1.67.94 Chromium: 125.0.6422.112 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)

GPU/HW Accleration enabled?

Yes hardware acceleration is enabled but without it the browser works really slow.

Check the task manager within Brave to see where the resources are being used, and yeah HW acceleration=disabled will cause CPU more issues since it offloads all the decode to your CPU.
