Bookmarks folders visible regardless of bookmarks bar settings

Imported Bookmarks folders visible even when bookmarks bar is turned off.

I went into settings and turned the bookmarks bar off
Then I imported my bookmarks from Chrome and Firefox
After I did this I closed Brave and launched brave.
The bookmarks folders appear on the top of my browser where the bookmarks bar would be.
I went into settings and toggled the bookmarks bar on and off and it did not make a difference.
