BOOKMARKS EXPORT on iOS

I do want to be able to export my bookmarks to share them between my devices(I was using Brave on all of them until recent bug, that I hope will get fixed soon).

A vary BASIC feature, especially for a browser that is focused on privacy / transparency. Wondering why this was not done ages before, hope this is not some vendor lock-in/holding peoples data hostage strategy.

@masdas this already exists…

So there’s the traditional import/export but then also sync to have data shared between devices. https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021218111-How-do-I-set-up-Sync

So your post makes no sense, especially your accusation of holding data hostage and all. And this was done ages ago…

Hey, thanks for pointing that out

  1. this was not implemented like a year ago I remember that I was reading some posts about it that It was only on Android
  2. I was checking this morning and it still seamed not to be there, in the end it is there but on completely weird place - you have to go to the root. If I click on Bookmarks I am in the Bookmarks inner folder - of course because most of the times I want to scroll through the list - not in the root - but in the inner folder there is no icon of share! In every other browser + also in the Brave desktop there is a menu under … three dots icon in every level of the directory tree so I mean there is no consistency
  3. It makes complete sense to think that every platform/piece of software will sell its integrity for cold hard cash at one point
