Brave iOS —- bookmarks (is it just me or something missing)

iOS current version, Brave browser current iOS version.

I love love Brave! It’s awesome! But there is one untenable thing holding me back from using Brave as my default browser in iOS.

HOW DO THE GOSH DARN HECK DO YOU BACKUP/EXPORT/RESTORE/IMPORT BOOKMARKS IN/OUT of Brave iOS??

Sorry, there’s no way I’m manually importing my bookmarks to Brave (and having them held captive on my iPhone).

I do want to sync my Brave browser. I want l export/import bookmarks… the same way I export/import my feed subscriptions in the iOS app “Downcast”

Are bookmarks included in the iTunes backup?

Go to the bookmarks list, make sure you are at root level,
then at the bottom there is a ‘share’ kind of button, tap on it and select Export/import bookmarks,

It will create a .html file that can be exported, this is an universal format so you should be able to import it to Chrome, Firefox etc

Import works the same way, it expects file in the same format

You do not have to use sync for import/export

To import, you have to upload the bookmarks html file to your phone then import this file,
Exporting bookmarks saves the bookmarks html file to your drive which you can then upload somewhere else
