Blocking autoplay blocks all play on Instagram

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Block autoplay on Instagram
  2. Restart Brave
  3. Try to play a video manually on Instagram

Expected result:
I can manually play any video.

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.47.186 Chromium: 109.0.5414.119 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Additional Information:
I hate Instagram’s autoplay of every single video with the power of 1000 burning suns. So I turn autoplay off on Instagram. Now I can’t play a video by pressing play manually without turning autoplay back on. From what I gather this is not how it’s supposed to work. I choose when to play something, Not Brave and Not Instagram. Me. Please fix this. It’s been broken a long time.

I have settings set to clear cache every time I exit the browser, which is every day. I cleared it and cookies out anyway, set autoplay blocked, went to Instagram, logged in, tried to play a video, but pressing play does nothing. The video is completely blocked from any play, not just autoplay. This is what has been broken for a long time, same behavior.
