Autofill password doesn't sync and shows blank on Linux

Description of the issue:
After updating to Version 1.78.69 Chromium: 135.0.7049.28 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) on linux the autofill password doesn’t seem to recognize the syncing devices, and is listed as blank.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. On a linux machine, have a device with passwords synced across another device(s).
  2. Update to or install Version 1.78.69 Chromium: 135.0.7049.28 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Expected result:
Autofill passwords should be synced with my synced device

Reproduces how often:
After update

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Fedora Linux 41 (Sway) x86_64
Version 1.78.69 Chromium: 135.0.7049.28 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)

Additional Information:
The browser seems to clear the password manager every time on start up. Which suspects me that the handling of loading the passwords from sync source is not working as intended.

I’ve hit a similar sounding issue with
Version 1.77.95 Chromium: 135.0.7049.52 (Official Build) (64-bit)

in brave://sync-internals i get the following exception listed in the type info section:

Error: GetAllDataForDebugging@components/password_manager/core/browser/sync/password_sync_bridge.cc:946, model error was encountered: Failed to load entries from the password store.

I’m running KDE with KDE wallet activated.

This appears to have been resolved.
Not sure if os update or brave, but now running brave at:

Version 1.77.97 Chromium: 135.0.7049.84 (Official Build) (64-bit)
