All passwords stored in the Password manager is gone

Description of the issue:
All my saved passwords in the Brave Password manager are now gone. The usernames are still there, but the passwords are no longer there for some reason.

Is this a compromise of the security of the browser? I use other password managers and only have 3 passwords stored in there because I never trusted the Password manager in the browser in the first place.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Don’t know, this suddenly happened, I did not do anything out of the ordinary
I do not have clear history or cache on exit on, nor did I manually initial cache to be cleared.
Expected result:
I should be able to see the passwords I stored in the Password manager

I would say to check out NOTICE: Unexplained Data Loss Issue but this does feel a bit different with you seeing usernames. I do know if you changed anything surrounding your OS keyring, such as resetting your device and reinstalling, then you’d not have access to passwords. I’m not sure if you made any such changes?

What I’ll do is try to tag in @Mattches on it regardless, just in case.
