All stored Brave browser passwords are gone?

Every password stored in Brave has disappeared.

The only thing I can think that could have triggered it is that I change my Windows User password last night. I change it a couple times a year. This morning all Brave stored passwords are gone.

clear data on exit is NOT enabled

Is it possible to recover them somehow?

**all saved passwords in Chrome and Firefox are fine, but I use different browsers for different tasks. Really hoping someone knows how to recover the disappeared passwords from Brave.
