Description of the issue:
http://www.smarter.yt extension “SmartVideo for Youtube” is causing a problem, dropped graphics and fonts.
I dont know if its their problem or not. It also happens in Chrome, so it’s likely a Chromium issue (or plug in) versus Brave. Your call if you take this any further, feel free to close it.

Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this resolves the issue?

I can imagine this could be buggy, 6 years without a update and Youtube has changed plenty. Is there a certain function you’re wanting from this extension @cswanson ?
So yeah, I just randomly found that extension, did little research, and the web site doesnt look much updated - I’ve already removed it.
@fanboynz you asked what function I needed, so maybe you can advise me? I wanted youtube videos to pre-load when I CMD-clicked them to open in a new tab - so I didnt have to continually wait when I switched over to it.
@Mattches - you asked: Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this resolves the issue? => I did that and it actually solved the problem, so good question on that.
So again, @fanboynz is right, if it’s old and out-of-date, then feel free to ignore this, I’ve removed the extension and I’m all good.
