Youtube dropdown not working with ad and track blocking enabled

Description of the issue:

No extensions used, but the dropdowns stopped working while shield is on. Only if I disable ad-blocking and tracker blocking altogether it will work.

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no)

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):
Active filters: EasyList Germany, Fanboy Annoyances List. I also tried to disable all and remove any custom filter (lists) from brave://adblock/ but it still doesn’t work.

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?

I had the same issue as well and a bit more but somehow this NOTICE by @Mattches fixed my random freezes and the YouTube context menu and notification issue

What do you mean by that? I removed all lists including the custom filters and it’s not working.

I’m not using Brave Rewards and I’m not on iOS, this is on macOS.
