Youtube and Brave´s shield

Youtube now detects Brave´s adblocker, when I open a video, it appears the annoying adblocker pop-up, is there something you can do about this?

YouTube makes changes, then adblock makes changes. It’s going to be an ongoing thing for quite some time. Brave and uBlock Origin already have fixed issues people had earlier. I have only had issues once and it’s been a while.

Main thing is:

  • Keep browser updated

  • Go to brave://components and update everything there if you have issues

  • Sometimes have to clear cookies

  • Be mindful of extensions, especially if you’re using anything with adblock capabilities. Ideally you should use as few extensions as possible in general.
