Would brave add Trust for comodo signed certificates to updates?

Description of the issue:
Many Appalachian State University sites get blocked going to sites using Comodo Signed Certificates, “This certificate was signed by an unknown authority” is the messages when viewing the certificate.

Organization: COMODO CA Limited
Common Name: COMODO RSA Domain Validation Secure Server CA

All ASU Library sites hosted on campus use this certificate because it is supplied by the University. I believe all sites hosted on campus use the certificate issuer also.

Exact URL of the website in question:

https://applications.library.appstate.edu/reference/instruction_request/newinstruction.html

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no)

What? there are 0 items blocked and connections upgraded.

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?
Otherwise functions same on or off

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):
Not a Shields issue!

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?
Does same with Chrome

Brave version (check About Brave):
just updated, same issue

I just tested this site,
https://applications.library.appstate.edu/reference/instruction_request/newinstruction.html

Seems to have a secure certificate

thanks for testing, for some reason I am still getting issues in Chrome and Brave with Chrome Version 84.0.4147.89 (Official Build) (64-bit) up to date on Mac High Sierra at home and in Chrome Remote Desktop my Mac El Capitan at work along with newest update Brave I get valid certificate from my desktop in front of me but same browsers on desktop at work say not trusted issuer. I expect my issue on browser at home is bad tls option setting in server configuration.

the browser in front is home machine browser in rear is in chrome remote desktop
