Description of the issue:
On Mint Linux (Ubuntu-like), with the official PPA version of Brave, does not trust CAs in the /usr/local/share/ca-certificates directory. The same chromium version does support this trust method.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Add internal CA certificate in PEM format to /usr/local/share/ca-certificates
- Run update-ca-certificates
- Start brave browser
- Got Settings → Security and Privacy → Security → Manage Certificates
- Go to Authorities tabs
- Certificate should be in list without manually importing it but it not.
Expected result:
Expected added CA cert to be in trusted list.
