When I am in my Outlook.com email account, I am able to download PDF files, but I am not able to download Word or Excel files. The Word/Excel files start downloading, but do not complete downloading. This occurs with the Brave browser on different computers, but it doesn’t happen with Firefox. This Brave downloading problem has only started recently.

Can you tell me if you have any extensions installed at this time? Additionally, just to confirm, you’re using the Outlook web app or are you using Office365?
I’ve removed the two extensions. I’m using the Outlook web app. I just tried it again. I was able to get one Word file attachment to download, but the second attachment one got “stuck.” I don’t understand it.
From Brave, I just tried to download a Zoho document in a Word format and that failed also. I’ve done this dozens of times in the past without any problems.

Interesting behavior. Would you mind creating a fresh temp. profile and test to see if you get the same behavior when using it? Please ensure you only have one Brave window (using the newly created profile) open when performing the test.
@Mattches I restarted my computers this morning, and everything seems to be working normally again. I thought it might have been the Google Translate extension, but that was only on one of my computers–but I had the downloading problem with both. Anyway, everything seems to be back to normal.
