Outlook / Word document links creating error and not opening Brave

When I select a link in Outlook (365) or Word I receive the error “something unexpected went wrong with this URL: “http…”. the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable”.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Select any link within an email or Word document

Expected result:
Browser, Brave, opens web page

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.16.76 Chromium: 86.0.4240.198 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
I can set another browser up as the default and it works as expected. I have closed applications, set the default browser, and restarted my computer to see if that helps, it does not.

Same problem here since the last windows update.

! Update: After PC restart its now working again :slight_smile:

I downloaded the beta version of Brave and it is now working as well.
