Why does brave store tracking coockies on my pc?

Description of the issue: Well, I used brave for a few days now and recently i saw that it stored tracking services on my pc!?

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3. 1. Use brave 2. Scan your pc (I used HitmanPro and CCleaner)

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!): https://gyazo.com/81639e4602b5853f251eec41864488eb

Expected result: well that it did not store tracking cookies

Reproduces how often: every time?

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): Windows 10 Home , latest brave browser.

Additional Information: OK I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS USUAL! So dont blame me if this is usual, just curious

Brave will limit the amount of third-party cookies being used (compare to other browsers). If you also manually adjust cookies in shields, this will also show up in cookies stored in your PC.

Some doubleclick cookies are used for video playback (and blocking some cookies will break video playback), so you have to be careful. Of course, I’d be interested the website source of the doubleclick cookie.

Oh ok,
I have now set it to delete all cookies after closing Brave, and that works fine.

Thanks

There is no harm in deleting that cookie, or any ad-related cookie.
