If I have to get same tracking cookies (same chrome and chromium bugs and issues) then what harm chrome is providing?

From now onwards, any thing privacy said by brave will be treated with a grain of salt. :rage:

There is a deep misunderstanding here.

Your anti-virus software seems to be identifying that Brave allows sites to set cookies. This is intended and is a core part of the Web; preventing sites from setting cookies would break an enormous number of sites.

What Brave does to protect your privacy regarding cookies is two things:

  1. Brave prevents cross-site cookies from being set. Brave prevents third-parties from writing and reading the same cookie when embedded in different sites. This prevents these third parties from linking your visits across sites, and so tracking you. Brave has the most aggressive and protective third-party cookie policy of any popular browser. I have been going through and manually deleting individual site cookies every few days… :roll_eyes:

It would be very useful to have a tick box by the side of individual site cookes so you can go through and delete all those ticked in one fell swoop rather than a multitude of clicks.

CTRL-SHIFT-DEL is your friend if you don’t want to go into your file system to manually and remove cookies one at a time.
